Come and join us in the Theatre Bar at 7pm onwards on Tuesday November 13th for a play reading and social evening based round a reading of “A Gypsy’s Tale” by Cumbrian Scriptwriter Julie Sandilands.
Set in the small market town of Appleby, Cumbria in October 1967, A Gypsy’s Tale follows the adventures of a young gypsy boy, Ryan, and a young Cumbrian gamekeeper, Hawkeye, as they investigate and banish Wicked Willie, a demon, who despite being exorcised over one hundred years before, has returned to haunt the town, killing anything and anyone who gets in his way.
Everyone is welcome including non-members. Come along at any time during the evening from 7.00 and join in reading, just listen or chat about the play. We look forward to seeing you.
