Penrith Players are currently running a small programme that goes to Women’s Institutes or village halls. The programme consists of scenes and playlets that do not require a licence and music. This means it will come at no costs to the hosts.
Organising the group is Mike Head. He said: “The Players did this many years ago and it was successful; good fun for those performing and watching. Our musical arm, Plug and Play, are also contributing performers. This is an opportunity for us to showcase what we can do and a great evening for anyone who wants us.”
