These are social evenings in the bar – which is open each evening – where we run through a chosen play.  People can come along at any time during the evening and join in reading if they like, or just listen, maybe chat about the play.

Incorporated are plays forming part of the Players programme, so it’s an informal chance to come along and see what a play is all about, with no pressure to join in.  Maybe you’d like to help out in a non-acting way eg volunteer to help back stage, front of house etc, or like to be considered for a part, or maybe just find out about it now and then come along and see it at performance time.

Our play reading evenings tend to run on the second Tuesday of each month starting at 7.30pm, but any date changes are highlighted in our regular newsletter. Contact us to sign up. Everyone is welcome, including non-members.

If you would like more information or if you’d like to organise one of these, then let Ian Baker know at: admin@penrithplayers.co.uk.
