Synopsis: The Festival is financially supported by Penrith Town Council and Penrith BID. The aim is to showcase local talent and build a festival where artists meet in Penrith and share, knowledge. This will create a great event for locals and tourist alike whilst at the same time creating a festival owned by the local artistic community.

Picturing Penrith
Artists arrive in Penirth and have from 8am until 4pm to create a work of art depicting Penrith, now in its 3rd year. Prizes and exhibition at the EVAN Gallery
The Magic of Penrith
- Entries open – Closing date Aug 31st
- Photographers are invited to submit entries for ‘The Magic of Penrith
- Can you find the magic in Penrith?’ Unusual angles on familiar places, quirky shots, hidden gems, characters, arty ideas, you decide at least one image from each participating photographer will be included in the show. The exhibition will be displayed in Penrith until Sunday 1st September.
- Entries can be made on the day. – £3 Entry fee
