Penrith Players Youth Group

About us

The Penrith Players Youth Group is open to anyone aged 10-17 years old. We meet every Thursday evening 6-8pm during term time, a drink and biscuits are provided. Youth Group activities are fun and help build skills and confidence. Thursday sessions are varied and can be anything from drama-themed games, acting and performing sketches and doing improvisations to workshops such as puppet making, stagecraft and working with masks.

Productions

The Youth Group aim to put on one full production each year. Past productions have included ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’, ‘The Wizard of Oz’, ‘Mr Macaroni and the Exploding Pizza Pie’ and ‘Christine Christie and the Brussels Sprouts Mystery’. This year, our centenary, we are planning an original pantomime in December.
