Come and join us in the Theatre Bar at 7pm this coming Wednesday July 17th for a play reading and social evening, based round a reading of ‘Abandonment’ by Kate Atkinson.
‘Abandonment’ is a first play by Kate Atkinson (Behind the Scenes at the Museum): social comedy/family drama/ghost story? It is all three. Please come along on 17th to find out what happens when recently separated Elizabeth moves into a converted Victorian mansion with the “help” of her sister, her mother, her best friend, a builder and a photographer, disturbing a former inhabitant of the house in the process! Viv Moules will be directing this play next February, but this evening’s reading is strictly for fun.
