Synopsis: “A noble and deeply moving piece of theatre blessed with wit, and insight” said the Daily Telegraph.

A challenging and profound two-handed play about a battle between life and death. A once self-assured concert violinist, struck by sudden illness and confined to a wheelchair, reluctantly consults a psychiatrist. In a verbal game of cat and mouse she attempts to avoid, and then, with his incisive prompting, face her inner demons.

For many people it has been linked with the life of Jacqueline du Pre, the great cellist, who contracted MS at an early age.

The play contains some strong language and sexual references, and is not suitable for young children.
