Centenary Dinner

To commemorate our centenary we invite you to join us at a celebratory dinner at the Roundthorn Hotel on Friday 18 November 7.00 for 7.30. In addition to a mouth watering dinner and you will hear from our fascinating guest speaker, former Penrith Player and BAFTA winning producer Tim Green. This is a great chance to meet up with members current and past.

Enjoy a delicious three course dinner at the Roundthorn Country House Hotel, a beautiful Grade II Listed Georgian Mansion with panoramic views of the Eden Valley, Pennines, Lakeland Fells and of course Penrith. The perfect place to celebrate 100 fabulous years of Penrith Players. 

After Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, Penrith Players, the National Youth Theatre and the University of Aberystwyth; Tim joined the BBC making documentaries around the world with people like Stephen Fry, David Attenborough, Alice Roberts and to name a few.After 25 years he left the BBC and worked initially for Endemol before setting up his own production company. He won a BAFTA last year and is nominated again this year.
